About the role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Frontend Architect / Developer to lead the development of a cutting-edge digital platform designed to enhance portfolio presentation and storytelling through engaging commercial content activation. This platform will enable seamless eCommerce setup, allowing retail partners to explore, acquire, and integrate content into their websites with ease.

You will shape the frontend architecture, build scalable solutions, and drive technical excellence in collaboration with a dedicated team of engineers and designers.

Project stack

• Frontend: React, TypeScript
• Backend: Node.js, GraphQL (Apollo Server)
• Hosting & DevOps: AWS AppSync, GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Authentication: Custom-built authentication for partner applications
• CMS Integration: Content Stack

Team

The team currently consists of four highly skilled back-end software engineers and one designer.

We are looking for two experienced strong React developers to play a key role in shaping and driving the project forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture decisions and ensure modular, scalable development practices.
• Build and optimize a React-based frontend application with TypeScript.
• Work closely with backend developers (BFF Backend for Frontend) to create seamless integrations.
• Implement and maintain a robust deployment pipeline using GitHub Actions.
• Ensure best practices in testing infrastructure and deployment reliability.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver an intuitive campaign asset view experience.
• Guide the introduction of a state management system for the application.

Requirements

Ideally, you will have at least 7 years experience in software development.

Skills and experience:

• 8+ years of experience in frontend development with expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Strong architectural background, with experience in building large-scale, bespoke applications.
• Proven track record of leading frontend teams and shaping technical direction.
• Experience working in greenfield projects as well as managing and improving existing codebases.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, BFF architecture, and AWS cloud solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize frontend performance and scalability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Additional Considerations:

• This role is frontend-heavy, but full-stack experience is a plus.
• We are also open to candidates with a backend focus, though frontend expertise expertise remains the priority.
