Your day to day:

Coding, data, technology thats your world! Be part of our Digital Operations teams and shape new and innovative solutions for the transformation of Vodafone towards the Digital Telco. Work with state-of-the art tools and open-source libraries.

As a member of the Application Management team your main focus is on developing software that makes peoples lives easier.

You are programming solutions to support operational processes and our digital transformation program for Vodafone Europe Networks Operations.

You are responsible for implementing and maintaining a development and continuous delivery platform.

You will be involved in all parts of the project, starting from planning to deployment, thus taking ownership of your products.

You participate in the design and maintenance of our development environment

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

• Writing code in PHP and Java Script
• Shaping and maintaining our development environment
• Developing software as part of a dynamic team employing the agile practices
• Maintain and evolve the infrastructure and tools
• Participate in the planning and designing stage of solutions for business cases.
• Ability to share best practices and code standards to the team
• Remain up-to-date in terms of current (and future) technologic trends.
• Ensures operation performance parameters as imposed, integrity and security of databases for IT and telecom applications. Provides support for implementing projects at high quality and efficiency standards.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

• Knowledge of Java Script frameworks like VUE.js, Angular.JS, React
• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks like Symphony
• Profound experience in the development of complex web applications
• Good knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with deployment pipelines and CI/CD
• Know-How in CI/CD Tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, GitHub, Azure DevOp
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
