Your impact
As aJavaScript Developer on theLoadRunner team at OpenText, you will be at the forefront of buildingscalable, high-performance solutions for enterprise applications. Your expertise inJavaScript and browser technologies will drive the development of robust, maintainable, and efficient products, with opportunities to integrate withC++ modules. By collaborating with global teams and applying best practices, you will help shape the next generation of performance testing solutions.
What the role offers
- Full development lifecycle ownership from requirements analysis to implementation and testing.
- Work withJavaScript and C++ to develop and enhance high-performance software.
- Solve complex challenges related toHTTP(S), WebSockets, and API integrations.
- Gain deep knowledge ofbrowser technologies (Edge, Chrome, Firefox).
- Collaborate with globalR and non-R teams, ensuring seamless communication.
- Maintainhigh execution standards, deliveringscalable and maintainable solutions.
What you need to succeed
- 3+ years of experience in software development with strongJavaScript skills.
- Deep understanding ofobject-oriented programming, multi-threading, and design patterns.
- Experience withHTTP(S), WebSockets, and API development.
- Familiarity withC++ (nice to have).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with adaptability tonew technologies.
- Experience working inAgile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a commitment tocontinuous learning.
- Experience withtest-driven development and frameworks likeJUnit and Selenium.
- Ability tomanage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with precision.
